Big day!
Five temples which is even more impressive to me that I started the run by getting up at 4:30 and climbing a mountain for the first, 60.
I’ve had strange luck with mountain temples. With the especially high ones, it always seems to be rainy or cloudy when I’m there. Very ethereal but a view would be nice too.
This was followed by 61 which was huge. The big concrete box is the temple. The Hondo is a small thing at the bottom. Up top is a huge modern auditorium with a giant Buddha for group ceremonies.
After that all the temples that day were nice but more reflective and insightful after those first two.
