The only downside of the henro trail is that you are taking so long to do it but sometimes you feel like you are seeing so little because you’re already traveling so much. Such was the case with Kochi City, a city pretty much the same size as my beloved hometown but different in so many ways.
I was here for two nights stay and wandered out on the morning of the last. Being in a city, I found myself doing all the things I felt needed to be done and only getting a few of the sights I really could in. On the errand side, I did get almost everything sorted and even found new trail shoes in a size 12. That’s a lot harder and luckier than it sounds too. Sights wise I just the “main 3”: shopping arcade, kochi castle grounds and a bit of the botanical gardens too. Seems like there was some neat local neighbourhoods I could’ve checked out had I more time.
Anyways, I should comment more but I’d rather just give a collage of pix to speak for themselves.
