The next morning, we (E and C and I), came down through the mountains and towards the shore again.
Temple 36 was set inland a bit from the shore but only a bit. From these photos you might think it was the usual mountain climb but not really. Despite being away from the shore, it was still close enough to double as a Shinto shrine for seafarers.
