So ran for a ferry. Just like home but this time on foot, carrying a 13kg pack. It’s a free ferry (not like home) that usually only carries ohenro-sans closer to the next temple. Even for fully dedicated walking ohenro, ferries are considered okay.
Temple 33 was where we wound up staying the night, thanks to kind temple staff. This was also actually a rinzai zen temple too. Nothing that you could see from looking but it was mentioned in the book and the attitude seemed more casual.
Lovely place like many others so far.
