Coming down mountains is always something else. What it is always depends a lot on which mountain you’re coming down. From 21 to 22, it was a long stretch of road that slowly morphed into actual traffic then back to bamboo trail then farmland.
It went from morning mountain cool to quite hot by the time I got to 22. It’s also not the smallest of the temple grounds I’ve to so far but it’s grouped we’ll for photos. I think it’s the only temple so far I could all the buildings in shot without using panorama mode on the cam.
You’ll also see some coins on the stairs in one of the photos. People do this to avoid misfortune in bad years of their lives which varies by gender. As this is ultimately an offering to the temple, they do sell rolls or bags of coins at temples where this is observed.
