With my feet still in much pain, I debated even going up that short distance and if I did, what next?<\/p>\n<p>One of the nice things about Japan and about Shikoku particularly is that the moment you begin to look lost, someone usually jumps into help you. At that moment, it was a nice woman from Urashima minshuku (guesthouse). At first, she was all about giving directions until I clarified my dilemma a bit. She was so nice, ultimately, I came back and decided to give the minshuku a try. Very reasonably priced by most standards but an extravagance on my budget.
